Drivers Lucas Ellingham, Theo Micouris, Josh Ifram and Luke Hilton all tested on saturday ready for Sundays GX200 race.
Lucas scored strongly in the heats with Heat1 - Win Heat2 - 2nd, and Heat3 - Win In the long 20 minute final around the tough PFI track Lucus had a long 12 minute battle with Restall until Restall finally got by. Lucus crossed the line in 2nd with Luke Hilton a close 3rd place. Teo Micouris had a very strong performance but a mechanical flag after 16minutes put an end to his podium challenge.
X30 Senior Drivers Test
Lewis Bickers, Joe Higham and Andrew Rees-Reynolds all attended PFI on the saturday for a pre LGM test. With Joe having never driven the circuit before it was important for him to get some laps under his belt. Lewis Bickers has also had limited experience of PFI but was quickly on the pace. While Andrew had some engines to run in, and the team wanted to get a better understanding of the chassis.
With Damp conditions gradually drying it gave the team the oppertunity to test on very different set ups and get some much needed data.
With 14 other X30's also testing it was very easy to gauge the pace of each sessions, and in the last wet Tire session and the final dry session Global Karting were topping the time sheets with some very strong ontrack perfomances. What was also encouraging was this was done on 4 different chassis types. Some of the team will be out this weekend at Whilton Mill where they hope to once again be in the top positions, before a final test and race at PFI.
